BioagraphyShawn Richards was born in Brooklyn. He lived in a small apartment on the 23rd floor of an apartment building on Neptune Avenue. When he was just 10 years old his parents got divorced and his mom moved into a house just down the steet from what is today known as Keyspan Park. Shawn's dad was crushed by this and did nothing, but drink all day. This got Shawn into drinking and everyday after Shawn came home from school him and his dad would get drunk on the couch. Shawn had very few friends and he rarely had a girlfriend. Girls would think that the smell of beer on him all the time was disgusting so they would stay away from him. He was always very athletic and always great at sports, but he never really got into sports. The only organized sport he ever played was High School Football. He was the Free Safety and Kick/Punt Returned on his High School team. He led all High Schoolers in the country with 6 Punt Returns for touchdowns and 8 Kick Returns for touchdowns. His high school team wasn't very good, but he was great. He earned himself a full football scholorship to the Univercity of Nebraska. He was found beating up a kid in the back of one of the schools buildings and he was clearly drunk. He was kicked out of school and then he moved to Tampa Bay Florida. In Tampa Bay he attended a great wrestling school because he loved to fight and thought it would be fun. He was there for two years and then he left the wrestling school. After moving back to Brooklyn he left the wrestling school. He joined the New York Wrestling Foundation in New York and wrestled under the name Eliminator. He won the World Title many times and was a great wrestler. After a while he decided that he could acheive better things in bigger federations. (That and the fact that they didn't want him anymore because he was drunk when he wrestled his last match). He left the Wrestling Foundation and one day was at a bar in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. There is got into a bar fight and beat the living crap out of this guy. Jenny McAlister a female who was in the bar saw the fight and went up to him. She asked him if he ever considered a career in professional fighting. He told her that he had attended wrestling school and eventhough she meant signing him up to the UFC she found a great wrestling federation he could join. This federation was a national one, there were events all over the United States. Shawn Richards accomplished great things in that federatiopn and again was kicked out because he was found wrestling drunk. Then he and Jenny went to the offices of the XWF. They asked for a tryout and they were accepted into the XWF. Shawn Richards won two Xtreme Title matches, but was never recognized as the Xtreme Champion in the XWF. He is yet to lose a match in the XWF and during the temporary break he was named the Directory Of Wrestling Relations.Shawn Richards feels he is good enough to be the XWF World Champion and knows he will someday be it. He is in his prime and eventhough he is always drunk if he stays sober he can have a very promising career in wrestling. |
